2025 Make Them Count

2025

MAKE THE  COUNT

By Coach Frank Sagasta

Happy New Year!  As we step into the second day of 2025, let’s take a moment to pause, reflect, and set powerful intentions for the year (2025) ahead.  2024 is in the rearview mirror now and many of us are in full speed ahead into 2025.  As for me, this is my first blog of the New Year.  And I hope each of enjoy it.  I hope you share it with everyone else in your circle too!!

Can you believe that it is already 2025?  I certainly can't.  It seems like this past year just flew on by.  Of course, now that we are here.  Let's go into the this new year the right way.  What do I mean?  Let’s make this year more adventurous.  More exciting and filled with love, purpose, focus, and with meaningful habits.  Let's make this the year you truly master the solution and results you want to achieve at the end of 2025.

I am certainly here to helping certain people and supporting them along your journey.  But I won’t assist those that aren’t willing to apply themselves.  The great business guru Zig Ziglar once said, “If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you.  If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.”  Zig Ziglar, is a well-known motivational speaker, business consultant, and author.  And still one of my top favorite people to listen to for advice.

This is your time to let go of what no longer serves you and step into the highest version of yourself—boldly, unapologetically, and with infinite possibility.  We are in a culture that equates time with accomplishments.  Thus we feel the constant pressure to work longer hours or post more on our social media.  The badge of honor is to be too busy in everyone’s eyes.  Especially as we share how things are going, being busy beyond reason is a sure sign of success.  OR is it?

I grow-up on a small farm in Riverside County, California.  It was a broken farm with only few pigs, rabbits, and a few chickens.  Not much of a farm like most would imagine.  But that was it.  Now the neighbor to the north.  The Johnson’s had a luscious farm.  Mr. Johnson’s had peach, apple, orange, and tangerine trees.  In fact, the Johnson’s had a grapevine filled with green and purple grapes.  As I look back on the broken farm and the luscious farm.  It is evident.  One must have balance in life.  Nothing can be done to alter the inevitable events of nature in our life.  I am truly convinced that God Almighty orchestrates the periods of labor and restoration.

I guess what I am trying to convey or express is that each day—you make daily deposits into your success bank account.  These are in the areas of your life, including physical, spiritual, emotional, mental, and personal development.  True desirable “success” does not come from 100 hours a week devoted to work.  It doesn’t come from being a multi billionaire.  It doesn’t happen from chasing fame or stardom.  As the great lawyer, philosopher, leader—Mohandas Gandhi once said, “There is more to life than increasing speed.”

I personally and professionally know how easy it feels to be stuck.  The endless noise about “how to get the body you want” or “how to be more successful in your life” can make it feel impossible to know where to begin.  That’s why I’m so excited to share this blog—I  know that each of you can walk into 2025 feeling unstoppable.  But I have prepared a list of questions for you the reader to answer.  Remember, it is essential for a great rule of success is to question and answer the questions.

1. What do you want to leave behind in 2024 and never repeat again?

Now genuinely asking yourself that question once again and reflect on the patterns, relationships, connections, or beliefs that held you back.  I challenge you to release them—how with gratitude for their lessons and make space for what’s next you this year.

2. What version of you is required to step into your 2025 vision?

Now, please consider the habits.  Consider the mindset, time, energy and effort you need to embody to create the desire life.  What shifts will help you fully align with the life you’re manifesting?

3. Are you going to point the finger at others or take full responsibility for your actions this year?

Instead of asking what you could do to lead a better life you point your fingers at others, saying they are responsible for the negatives you have.  It’s not, however, on anyone other than you.

4. What addiction will you commit to walking away from this day forward?

By the way—I am not talking about just drugs or alcohol, vaping, but also video game addictions, entertainment (Netflix, Sports) addictions, even fitness addictions can destroy your life.

Anything done to the point of being addicted and leaving behind other things, results in a worse life as you will start to use that activity as an excuse for the things that truly matter.  Take good thought that you do not use a good activity as an excuse to avoid things that truly matter in your life.

5. Where do you need to start the fire in your life today?

It is important to allow for flexibility.  Keeping to rigor in your lives can restrict natural growth and positive change, making any unexpected change turn into a major disaster.  For any system of success to survive, and to grow, you must be capable of welcoming a variety of systems in your life this new year.  So, set aflame under your feet and strive to be the best version of yourself.

With gratitude,
