My Bondage & My Freedom

My Bondage and My Freedom

This story is about the decision-making process that is essential for our success in succeeding for tomorrow. So, please hydrate yourself on these simple tools toward achieving.

It was the luster of enslavement and bondage that continued to in prison my ability at achieving great things in life. It all came short of my ability to think and believe. If they could only have another chance, they would repeat these words; “Power is gained by sharing knowledge, not hoarding it.” I believe the grave is the number one source of information, but often to many have left this earth without the regard to sharing something worthwhile.

Today, I share with you a decision I made to pick up a book called (Think & Grow Rich). It wowed me the first time I read it. However, like the number one motivational book in the world, I had to reread this books once more. In the second read, I found the treasure; “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve,” Napoleon Hill once said. Of course, he wasn’t the only one that found the same treasure. Buddha taught “The mind is everything. What you think, you become.” This was evident that we must get to a point where we believe what we really want for ourselves or our family.

You’ve all heard high-minded quotes like these in the last five - ten years. Science and medical research have caught up. We can finally quantify and track how beliefs can shape our outcomes to health and happiness. Success and primary greatness. I’ll give you five tools to start the process, but first, you need to leave the monkey mind at the door. If you don’t know what the monkey mind is I'll be pleased to share.

1. Surround yourself with people who lift you up not bring you down.

Someone that really wants to succeed in life, needs an excellent support system.

2. Find a tribe.

Like the surround ones, this is a portion of people mixed with family and friends that stay connected for life. They use action with words and body language.

3. Write down your belief system on paper or notecards.

Every time you write down or see your goals they become a part of reality. This tool helps at holding you accountable.

4. Educate to Liberate.

Be of continuous education daily, despite the noisy world. Make cut off times or days from social media. Don’t be a sociopath in life that dies without regard to helping yourself and others.

5. Have faith in what you believe and think.

Find the clairvoyance of faith deep within and apply it to every aspect of life. Remember to be the change you want to see in life through faith and action.

We all have two things well in common, life and time. Let’s make every effort and energy to make them count toward our future, make it a masterpiece.

Best,
