SILENCE RULE

I have known the silence of the wind. I have known the silence of the star. I have known the silence of the river. I have known the silence of the sea. I have known the silence of the city all in peace. And the silence that lies deep within me. - Coach Frank Sagasta

A curious boy who's silence is not heard because of from lack in the golden rule. The young man or young women who've never come to understand this rule, that so many went to the grave in silent with it and didn't share. The man/women who know it like the sound of a cannon or the crack of the thunder from the eastern sky. These rules are the art of where we are in life. They describe the ground we walk and hear in silence. And the silence of great love in the heart. And the silence of the deep peace of mind, body, and soul. And lastly the silence of an embittered friendship.

I can remember as a child attending school and learning these rules. These rule would not go in silence but help teaches us to become great stewards of society. The Golden Rule was taught and emphasized for many years. In fact, we teach our kids from time to time, emphasizing the importance of it and how it has become silent in American schools. Some would say it's teaching came from the bible but I didn't hear my teacher ever bring up the bible while in school. Of course, today at the age of thirty-seven. I have heard it a few times in church and from the bible. Although I didn't live by it when I was a young man it is principle and fact. How will you respond to someone criticizing you? What should you do for every lady at a door? Why should you give someone a helping hand? Lastly, how should I treat my parents, family, friends, teacher, co-worker, and boss?

Treating other the way you want to be treated. Something my wife and I are always reminding our kids, why? Becuase there in a public school setting where it's silent and not enforced. We ought to know how to speak to other the way we want to be spoken to in life. Giving strong consideration that some people have forgotten or were never taught these simple rules. It truly is remarkable how often this approach to our attitude and action will lead us to proper responses. If done right and not in silence but with a positive mental attitude and action. The great the responses can be for us in life.

This powerful law of old testament and rule of the new testament is found as an important lesson from God. If we would treat other the same way we wanted to be treated, there would be no unkind words in today's home or work. There would be no murders, no gossiping or slander. No dishonesty, no deception, no betrayal or unforgiveness, etc. I can only hope you take something from this and apply with action to the table of your heart, mind, and soul. Make the rest of your life, the best of your like as a masterpiece of the Golden Rule.

Best,
